D3A2
Data Driven Decisions for Academic Achievement (D3A2) provides Ohio teachers with systematic access to valuable performance data and aligned educational content to help them meet the needs of their individual students. The Data Tool, Resource Exchange, and Professional Development Toolkit are currently listed among D3A2's offerings. D3A2 is a long-term initiative in the state of Ohio. It seeks to develop and provide federated access to a range of data-use products specifically designed to impact instruction at the classroom level. D3A2 employs a unique collaborative approach to provide effective tools that have been created by teachers for teachers. Districts, schools, and teachers are welcome to freely choose from D3A2's offerings at no direct cost.

Product Descriptions
Data Tool
The D32 Data Tool puts data in the hands of educators in a powerful, easy-to-use format. It helps teachers analyze student performance and then points them to resources designed to address the specific academic needs identified by the data. Login accounts are required. Districts can learn how to get started with the Data Tool by visiting the Implementation Page page. Full descriptions of all Data Reports reports are shown on the Data Tool Page.

Resource Exchange
The D3A2 Resource Exchange is a collection of educational resources including lesson plans, assessment items, and multimedia materials that have been provided and aligned to Ohio academic content standards by our many partners.

Professional Development
D3A2 provides many training opportunities including the D3A2 Professional Development Toolkit and instructional websites such as Move Ahead and Data Primer all specifically designed to support teachers as they learn to incorporate data into instructional decision-making. The Professional Development Toolkit is an extensive collection of training materials including activity guides, sample agendas, support materials, and insightful video clips. The four modules that make up the Toolkit, are designed to: provide background knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use the D3A2 website; encourage the development of a culture of inquiry within the school setting; improve the ability to read and analyze item analysis data through identification of significant patterns and trends and the strengths and limitations of the data; and promote the use of item analysis data to improve instructional practice.

Interactive Tour
The D3A2 Interactive Tour provides multimedia-enhanced introductions to the D3A2 Data Tool and Resource Exchange as well as interviews with teachers and administrators who discuss how using data can improve teaching and learning in the classroom. It offers a powerful introduction for teachers and building level administrators to the topic of using data to improve classroom instruction.

Data Scrubber
The Data Scrubber is a web-based application created to help districts prepare student score and item analysis data obtained from the Ohio Achievement and Graduation Tests for upload to the D3A2 Data Warehouse. ITCs prepare districts tp use of the Data Scrubber by providing regional training and support.
